This is great for an hour or two to kill on a weekend, and they have interesting lectures to attend some evenings. It is a wonderful day activity if you stay in Auburn and do not want to travel far. Their exhibits rotate often enough to keep it interesting.
A beautiful sight to see. This is a great location to host events
Enjoyed trip there with son and grandson.
Really good place to visit
The acoustics in the hallway are much better now. Not as much echo. Enjoyed it greatly.
This museum is a treasure to be found in an otherwise artistically-challenged college town. The JCSM hosts lunch events featuring live music every Thursday and hosts guest speakers in the museum auditorium at least twice a semester. Interesting exhibitions, a nice permanent collection (some of the best of which isn't on display), and free admission. The grounds are beautiful, and locals use the pathways to exercise and search for Pokemon. And if you're really, really lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the pond turtles sunning on the shoulders of the water bunny sculptures.
