I've personally seen Pastor Randy minister and connect with people in common places in the community without him knowing I was even there. I appreciate he doesn't just hide in the pulpit.
This church is incredible! I have personally known the Pastor for many years. I've seen him both on stage and behind closed doors. He is as genuine as they come. What you see is what you get. He cares for people and would give you the shirt off his back. The people in this church are some of the most loving and caring people I've ever meet. The worship is great, the preaching is awesome and every aspect of this church make it a place I would recommend to anyone! If I could give a 10 star review, I would!
Let me just say what a powerful anointed, integral man of God Pastor Randy is! I have known him for over 20yrs! The City Church is a powerful and relevant Church in Auburn AL. Lives are being changed because of the Kingdom message Pastor Randy teaches! Glad to be connected to powerful ministry!
Truly amazing and overwhelming presence of the Lord at The City Church. I love that the congregation is diverse (as is heaven). Pastor Randy Cowart is a dedicated and Spirit-filled pastor. Worship team and children's ministries are wonderful. Couldn't imagine my family anywhere else!
Not a PERFECT church by far....mainly because there are no perfect humans. I would recommend to anyone to check it out for yourself. City Church is not just the pastor....it's such a comfortable environment and very easy to connect with because the people there are intenitionally welcoming.
I did not like the fact that the pastor only spoke about how if you tithe more than you will have "more blessings" and how when I needed help the most in my own personal life I saw how the pastor only helped other families inside the church and when I asked for any help I was told that the church was going to go in another direction or how they always talk about doing outreach but never do it and a big problem is during the summer months there is no Wednesday night service. One more thing is how does the pastor have one source of income is from the church then you know he is all about money ,every pastor i know have a full time job and preaches on Sundays because that is their true calling and i think it is funny how you get all these 5 star views coming up now from all his friends and family if they like church so much the comments would have already been there and not since a few people start telling the truth about the city church
GREAT diversity and atmosphere of God in this church. For me personally....Pastor Randy's willingness to be transparent with the financial books of the church with appointment is a breath of fresh air in a world where we constantly see leadership fall because of money and/or lust.
